{"id":314,"date":"2022-06-13T19:30:25","date_gmt":"2022-06-13T19:30:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/duraeuroposarchive.org\/?page_id=314"},"modified":"2025-09-25T12:55:56","modified_gmt":"2025-09-25T12:55:56","slug":"sponsors","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/duraeuroposarchive.org\/ar\/sponsors\/","title":{"rendered":"Sponsors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The International (Digital) Dura-Europos Archive is deeply indebted to Yale University&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/archaia.yale.edu\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/archaia.yale.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Archaia Program for the Study of Ancient and Premodern Cultures and Societies<\/a> for their support in incubating and seed-funding the initial stages of development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IDEA received major funding support from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.neh.gov\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.neh.gov\/\">National Endowment for the Humanities<\/a> (2022-5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Spring 2024, as part of the \u2018Lives in Ruins\u2019 initiative funded by the OSUN\/Talloires Network of Engaged Universities, the IDEA dataset served as a hands-on training space for familiarizing a group of Syrian cultural heritage professionals with the possibilities offered by LOD methods. Born of collaborative discussions in these workshops, participants in the pilot workshop designed and launched targeted IDEA_Local projects for data enrichment (ie. LOD annotation, etc.) in Spring 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbk.ac.uk\/research\/centres\/carena-institute-of-sustainable-archaeologies\">Carena Institute of Sustainable Archaeologies<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voicesheritage.org\/\">Voices of Heritage (Aswat Alturath- \u0623\u0635\u0648\u0627\u062a \u0627\u0644\u062a\u0631\u0627\u062b)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCIOI5MJiYhx-z_i71v0dGrA\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCIOI5MJiYhx-z_i71v0dGrA\">Deir ez Zor Heritage Library<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Deir_ez-Zor_Museum\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Deir_ez-Zor_Museum\">Deir ez-Zor Museum<\/a>, further development of IDEA is funded by an American Council for Learned Societies Digital Justice grant: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acls.org\/recent-fellows\/?program_id=40090\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.acls.org\/recent-fellows\/?program_id=40090\">Archaeological Archives as Inclusive Learning Laboratories<\/a> (2025-7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The International (Digital) Dura-Europos Archive is deeply indebted to Yale University&#8217;s Archaia Program for the Study of Ancient and Premodern Cultures and Societies for their support in incubating and seed-funding the initial stages of development.
